About Our Drone Pilot
When you work with Propell Productions, you work directly with Ed Russo, our pilot. Ed brings over four years of professional drone experience to every flight. In September 2025, his aerial work earned him an Emmy Award, and he has also been recognized by the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters for his ability to tell compelling stories through drone technology. Beyond the drone world, Ed is a meteorologist with more than 16 years of professional experience — a background that perfectly complements aviation, where weather awareness is key. He is FAA Part 107 certified and fully insured, ensuring each flight is safe, legal, and professional.
